I have made two versions one for OFFICAL carrier which doesn't need unlocking and one for un-offical carriers which needs Unlocking and blacksn0w to unlock. The files for unoffical carrier gets blacksnow to unlock it and u can then use any SIM-card. Once again thes are custom ipsw files so there will be NO CHANGE in BASEBAND of your iphone. NOTE : for 3GS users if your bootrom is updated then sn0wbreeze will not work for you i mean if u have accidently updated to 3.1.3 without using a custom ipsw file if thats the case then this is not for u. this is for 3GS users which have pre-jailbroken device or if they have used custom ipsw file in the past . u can always use ultrasn0w or blacksn0w to unlock (baseband must be 5.11.07). No problem for devices which are on offical carrier they can use this custom ipsw in any baseband prior to 3.1.3. |

Download blackra1n form here ; How to : just connect iphone to computer and unzip blackra1n and run the blackra1n.exe file and Close itunes and kill iTunesHelper.exe in taskmanager. press the make it rain button and it will jailbreak your device. you need to run blackra1n twice on iphone 3G and 3GS, once to jailbreak and once to boot after jailbreaking just install cydia from homescreen (pressing the blackra1n.app ) thas all !! if your device has the itunes+cabble connect picture then just close itunes and close blackra1n.exe and run it again this time it will work.
NOTE : This will not activate the iphone i mean UNLOCK thge iphone so this is inot for people who are using and depending on yellowsn0w or ultrasn0w unlock so don't up[grade to 3.1.2 because this will change the baseband and if the baseband is changed then you will loser you unlock ! this software is only for jailbreaking all apple devices and not unlocking them !! Download purplera1n RC2 from here . Requirements: You must have - windows 7 x86 or x64, Windows Vista x86 or x64, Windows xp sp2 x86 orx64, iTunes 8.2.0.23, Purplera1n software downloaded.
- Connect your iPhone to your computer. Close iTunes if it is running.
- Run purplera1n.exe that you downloaded from the requirements section.
- Click “make it ra1n”. It will respond with “waiting for reboot”. Your iPhone will now reboot into recovery mode and you should see this image on your iPhone screen:
- If you do not see this image and instead see the cable connecting to iTunes, wait 1 minute. If it stays that way then this did not work and you can assume you have to repeat the process. It’s ok to start it while you’re in recovery mode. It will just go right to the image above. If not, close purplera1n and repeat step 2 & 3. If you cant get past this,
- After a couple of minutes, your iPhone will reboot and you will see a new app with a blank important icon Freeze on your iPhone screen:
- Now we want to get Cydia installed. We’ll do this over the ! important]network[/COLOR][/COLOR]. Make sure you have wifi or very stable 3g before running this step. When you do, run Freeze.
- Click “Install Cydia” and wait for it to download and install.
- When the install completes, close Freeze and reboot the iPhone and You now have a Cydia icon.
- Open Cydia and allow it to reorganize your apps (this eliminates the need for BossTool). After this, perform the essential updates or do a complete update.
Troubleshooting:.
Purplera1n crashes as soon as you tap “make it ra1n”. Your Apple mobile device service is not running.
On Windows press windows + r and type “services.msc” into the run box and hit enter. Then locate the Apple Mobile Device service and right click, say “start”.
Purplera1n just hangs on waiting to reboot. I had this problem. Possible resolutions are: don’t use vista, use xp 32bit. Make sure iTunes 8.2.0.23 is installed.
Make sure you did your reboot after install.
Can only get itunes cable not the purplera1n picture on iPhone: This usually goes hand-in-hande with the problem above. Use the same steps. Try another computer, latest iTunes etc.
If u can't load up iphone and stays in itunes cable connection screen
then use QuickPWN 3 btea 5 and start it and hold home button + power button for 15 seconds and then release home button and press power button for two seconds it will
bring u back to screen where it needs activation
