Windows 7 Logon Screen Rotator
Till Windows Vista & Xp there was no support for changing Login Screen background and you have to use third party apps like logon studio for changing login screen background.

To simplify the process there is a free utility that will allow you change the logon screen background with just a few clicks. Download Windows 7 Logon Changer Make sure that the background you select is smaller than 256KB 
After you download and start the utility just click Change Logon Screen and then select your new background. 
The new background will be active as soon as you select the new background. Click Test to see it in action. | Create a Flip3D Taskbar Icon in Windows 7 : Right click on the Desktop and select New and then Shortcut. Type in RunDll32 DwmApi #105 in the location box and click Next.
 Type in Flip3D as the Name and click Finish. You will now have an shortcut on the desktop that will launch Flip3D but it has the wrong icon. Right click on the Flip3D shortcut and select Properties.
On the Shortcut tab click the Change Icon button. Change the Look for icons in this file text box to C:\windows\explorer.exe and it Enter. The Flip3D icon will now be available. Select it and click OK.
 Click OK to close out the shortcut properties window.
Finally, just drag and drop the new shortcut on the Windows 7 taskbar to pin it. |

Black Windows Media Center Skin : Users have already started to change the look of the new Windows Media Center in Windows 7. Australian Media Center Community member Astrotoy7 created a sharp looking black theme for Media Center. To install the black theme you will need to download a replacement resource file that contains the the new bitmaps. Download the new resource DLL for your version of Windows 7:

Next, take ownership of c:\windows\ehome\ehres.dll and rename the ehres.dll to ehres_old.dll so you have a backup to revert the change if needed.
Then just copy the downloaded ehres.dll file to c:\windows\ehome\ and start up Media Center. |
| Hack to Activate and Switch Window in Windows 7 By Mouse Over Hover Without Click
When there are many windows open on desktop of Windows 7, normally users will click on another window in order activate the window into front or foreground and switch to the task or window.Some users may prefer to be able to switch to another window immediately upon mouse over or hover the mouse pointer on the inactive window. Microsoft provides such auto-bring to front window on mouse over option in Windows 7.
To enable and turn on Windows 7 feature to activate and bring to front a window automatically on mouse over as if user has click on it without any actual mouse click, follow these steps:
1. Go to Control Panel
2. Click on Ease of Access link or Ease of Access Center icon.
3. Select Change how your mouse works or Make the mouse easier to use option.
4. Tick the check box for Activate a window by hovering over it with the mouse under "Make it easier to manage windows" section.
5. Click OK or Apply, and hover your mouse on another window to activate it instantly. |
