It can also configure Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera settings for better browsing experience. Internet Optimizer is very easy to use and provides comprehensive information about each setting that should be modified. All changes can be easily undone via Auslogics Rescue Center. Memory Optimizer Sometimes your system may experience insufficient memory (RAM) resources because some programs hog your RAM and create memory leaks. Memory Optimizer fixes memory leaks, reclaims lost memory and defragments it, recovering valuable memory resources needed for Windows and other applications to operate properly.
Thoroughly cleans your PC from system clutter and junk files. This tool scans your hard drives for useless files that waste disk space and slow down your computer. This may be Windows and third-party applications temporary files, Web browsers cache, junk files left by online chat programs like MSN or Yahoo Messenger and other debris. Disk Cleaner shows you which files are safe to remove and allows you to choose files you want to delete. Scans the registry for invalid and obsolete entries and fixes various registry errors. Registry Cleaner provides a comprehensive list of all errors found after scanning the registry, describing each problem in detail. It will then clean and repair selected problems to speed up your PC and eliminate possible crashes. Using Registry Cleaner is absolutely risk-free as all changes can be easily undone by selecting the 'Restore changes' radio button. Duplicate File Finder Helps you to find and delete unnecessary duplicate files on your hard drive. This may increase disk space up to 50%. You can select matching criteria the program should use to compare files while scanning the disk. Auslogics Duplicate File Finder can search for files with identical name, size, time and date files were modified, and even match files by content. You can also use filter to search for duplicates among specific file types. Shows you the list of all programs installed on your computer and allows you to easily uninstall any of them. Uninstall Manager displays detailed information about each program, including its publisher, current version, installation size and location on the disk. When you surf the Internet, open documents or run different programs, your activity is recorded in specific files, like cookies, temporary files and the registry. This means that people who have access to your computer can easily see which web sites you have visited or which documents, images and applications you've recently opened. Track Eraser will protect your privacy by removing this confidential information from your computer. This tool protects your computer from Internet attacks by changing Windows settings to a more secure configuration. It disables services like 'Remote Registry' and 'Messaging Service' which can be used by hackers to get unauthorized access to your computer. These services are rarely used and disabling them won't cause any system malfunctions. Once disabled, you'll be able to easily activate them again straight from the program. File Shredder Did you know that by simply deleting files or folders in Windows you just remove references to them but not the actual data? Files you think you've deleted remain on the disk and can be easily restored with data recovery software. File Shredder was designed to permanently delete files, folders and the Recycle Bin contents, so your sensitive data cannot be restored. It provides four different shredding algorithms: from fast to military-level safety shredding. Disk Wiper Unlike File Shred this tool wipes free space on an entire drive, making sure that files you have deleted previously can't be restored. To provide extra security, Disk Wiper allows turning off System Restore while wiping a disk. Since System Restore keeps track of files changes, turning it off ensures that no files copies will be created during wiping. In addition, this tool can wipe slack space and clear file entries from the file system table.

Service Manager will help you to identify and disable unnecessary services by providing you with comprehensive descriptions and recommendations regarding each running service. Task Manager The program lets you track all running applications, processes and open files. It displays CPU, RAM and disk usage by individual program or process, as well as total consumption of system recourses. Increase Page Files and some information about PAGE files : Fix Broken and Slow Tab Issues in Internet Explorer 8 ===== Solution ===== 1- START and in search type : cmd 2- You will need to **Run as administrator**) 3- Type the following command. regsvr32 actxprxy.dll Increase Performance Tweaks and tricks for Windows 7 : The minimize and maximize window animations that first debuted in Windows Vista were an improvement over the effect in Windows XP. While this new effect had a high “cool factor” (especially with the slow motion key) it eventually wore off and created an unnecessary delay when switching between windows. Disabling the effect will instantly make your computer feel more responsive and faster. Give it a try and see for yourself: - Click on the Start Button and type in SystemPropertiesPerformance and hit Enter.
- On the Visual Effects tab locate and remove the check from Animate windows when minimizing and maximizing.
- Click OK.
Remove Send Feedback Link from Window Title : Many of the Windows 7 test builds include a Send Feedback link on the top of each open window. While I'm an advocate of sending Microsoft feedback on beta builds I like to do it through the link on the desktop and prefer not to clutter the titlebar.
With the help of a quick registry tweak it is possible to remove the titlebar Send Feedback link permanently: - Click on the start button and start up the Registry Editor by typing in regedit and hitting Enter.
- Once RegEdit is open, navigate through HKEY_Current_User, Control Panel and Desktop.
- Modify FeedbackToolEnable and set the value to 0.

- Restart.
Hide Background Windows with Aero Shake Aero Shake is one of the lesser known features included in Windows 7. It offers a unique way to minimize all the open windows on your screen while leaving one up that you want to work with. I like to use Aero Shake to concentrate on just one open application without the clutter of other windows in the background. All you need to do is shake a window with your mouse. Just like you are trying to move it but only shake it. Increase Shutdown and startup of windows 7 : Auto End Tasks for better respond : go to : Adjust Taskbar Preview Hover Delay : Taskbar previews in 7 have been updated and include new functionality. Users can close windows right from the preview window and even view full size previews with Aero Peek. The changes are very useful but all are depending on the amount of time you hover over the taskbar icon with your mouse. After a set period, 400 milliseconds, the taskbar preview is shown. For some, the required hover time is way too long. Here is how you can customize the hover time just for the taskbar: - Click on the Start Button and type in Regedit and hit Enter.
- Navigate through HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced.
- Right click on Advanced and select New DWORD and name the new value "ExtendedUIHoverTime".
- Right click on ExtendedUIHoverTime and select Modify.
- Switch to Decimal base and enter in your new number. The default is 400 milliseconds. I like to set mine to 100 for a 100 millisecond delay.
- Once changed click OK and restart the explorer process or restart your computer.
Alternatively you can customize the global system hover time that will adjust the hover delay for everything on your system including taskbar icons, start menu shortcuts, etc: - Click on the Start Button and type in regedit and hit Enter.
- Navigate through HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse.
- Right click on MouseHoverTime and select Modify.
- Set the new value. The default value is 400 milliseconds.
- Once changed, click OK and restart your computer.
Adjust Live Preview Hover Delay : let's customize the live preview hover delay that determines how long you must hover over a thumbnail preview before you are shown a live preview of the Window. Here is how you can customize the Live Preview hover delay: - Click on the Start Button, type in regedit and hit Enter.
- Navigate through HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced.
- Right click on Advanced and select New DWORD and name the new value "ThumbnailLivePreviewHoverTime".
- Right click on ThumbnailLivePreviewHoverTime and select Modify.
- Switch to Decimal base and enter in your new number in milliseconds. 1000 = 1 second. Anything larger than 0 is a valid value.
- Once changed click OK and restart the explorer process or restart your computer.

Officially, the incomplete half-open outbound TCP connection attempts allowed at any one time is now unlimited by default in Windows Server 2008 and Vista SP2 (Service Pack 2), and Windows 7.
